A good music library is one of the greatest assets an audio production
facility can have. Just the right piece of music can truly turn a mediocre
piece of copy into something quite dynamic.
One thing I always remember, having worked in one studio which had sixteen
libraries and as many catalogs for the libraries, was hearing producers
who were about to search by themselves for some library music, and they
talked about it as if it was elevator music. It was as if they had told
themselves that they couldn't possibly find a decent piece of music unless
they had it scored by a composer. I know that there are many extremely
good library music pieces, but one has to know where to look.
So, I've spent the last fifteen or more years compiling a database with
the best cuts, so that I can quickly find just about any kind of music
to embellish and make your project stand out.

These are the
libraries that I have found which have composers who, not only have a "hook" ,
but who develop the theme, adding a new element every few bars. This enhances
your copy so much, giving it a much more interesting feel than the "lesser"
music libraries which might have a catchy hook which, unfortunately, repeats
over and over, tending to make the copy feel as if it's boring.
