Holy Cow!! early 70's glam fans, get down on your knees and thank the good Lord for this manna from heaven
The Church Of Me The album begins with the track which was always the most likely of these to have become a proper hit – “Rebels Rule”
by Edinburgh’s Iron Virgin
For glam fans and collectors the new year starts with a sensational new release: the first ever "junk-shop glam" compilation

Some highlights are the (metallically named) Iron Virgin, whose "Rebels Rule "is one of the undiscovered ('til now) gems of the genre, kicking things off with a brilliant Sweet meets Quatro anthem

Here it is folks, your official summer party record for 2003. Velvet Tinmine
Check out the liner notes for a classic photo of the band IronVirgin (who provide the
opening "Rebels Rule"), their lead singer clad in a leather jumpsuit and a gigantic codpiece with a "No Entry" sign. I can't recommend this collection enough. Let's get the party going! [RH]

There was once a time (the early 1970s) when flared trousers and shirt collars were as big as the state of Texas and tanks tops were a teen high street fashion accessory.
The best of these are Iron Virgin, Hello, Arrows (a very stylish 'Toughen Up'), Bearded Lady
